Joanna Lee
Undergraduate Research Assistant
With a background in competitive gymnastics and a love for science, I found an appreciation for the physiology behind movement and systems. This led me to study biomedical sciences at Marquette and pursue a career in health and medicine where I aim to apply the discipline learned as an athlete to my studies and career. I joined the Integrative Muscle Physiology and Energetics Lab in the fall of 2022 and have since had the opportunity to participate in the ongoing research and learn about muscle physiology in depth.

Outside academics, I am a part of the gymnastics club on campus and like to stay active. I also enjoy playing piano, photography, videography, and spending time with my family. When not at school, I work as a patient care technician.
