Tess Birmingham
Undergraduate Research Assistant
Background: Growing up, I enjoyed playing soccer and swimming. Dealing with injuries and my interest in science eventually led me to the physical therapy program at Marquette University. Since then, I had the opportunity to shadow the integrative muscle physiology lab, where I developed an appreciation for research, specifically in muscle function from both the whole muscle and physiological perspective.

Outside the Lab: I enjoy lifting, running, spending time with friends, and trying new foods in the Milwaukee area.
