David Wrucke, M.S.

Research Associate

Background: David is a research assistant and has been a collaborator of the lab since 2020 before joining officially in 2024. He completed his master's degree in Exercise & Rehabilitation Science at Marquette in 2023 where his research primarily focused on the mechanisms for the loss of lower limb strength and power with aging. He graduated with his bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences from Marquette in 2021 where he was a Public Health & Equity Research fellow and a member of the Interdisciplinary Covid-19 Summer Research Program. Currently, his research primarily focuses on training programs to improve strength and fatigability in older adults.

Outside of the lab: David enjoys watching Milwaukee Brewers baseball games and spending time with his wife and pet gecko.
